The Ombudsman’s general practice is to conduct formal investigations and make reports only when:
• there has been a failure to properly address a serious problem;
• there has been a serious abuse of power;
• there is an important public interest consideration involved;
• there is a significant question as to the appropriate care or treatment of a person or group of persons; or
• attempts to resolve or clarify a matter by other means have been unsuccessful.

We all know this is a croc and that Bruce Ballbag Barbour has absolutely no intent EVER of investigating and jailing his corrupt DoCS workers. He's too scared. Alecomm has at least 40 people whom have complained to the Ombudsman with reliable evidence proving corruptness within the child protection system.
Funny enough, each time Brucey Babe lets the DoCS Office do their own investigation, lie to him and generally the minister for Community Services also and he replies to the victim of corruption stating that there is no corruption. One must wonder how many emus profess to see the sky when they never take their head out of the sand - or in Brucey's case - his arse.
We look forward to the day coming where Bruce Barbour steps aside to let a real man do a real mans job.
