CHILD RAPIST ACCUSED OF MURDERING GIRL EXECUTED
VIDEO Another man who was convicted of raping and murdering a three-year-old girl received the same fate as 22-year-old, Hussein al-Saket, and was executed in the Yemeni capital Sanaa in front of hundreds of onlookers in early August.
Hussein al-Saket, 22, was surrounded by an angry crowd in Yemen who were there to witness his brutal public execution.
The execution occurred at Tahrir Square in Sanaa, an area that's been controlled since 2014 by Shiite Huthi rebels.

Judge Rajeh Ezzedine, who witnessed the execution, told AFP that Saket had been found guilty of abducting, raping and murdering the child.
The victim's, Ali Ayedh, said Saket “took part in the search for the girl before being unmasked” during the police investigation.
He said Saket’s public execution would act as a “deterrent for criminals”.

The man was placed face down before he was shot five times in the back by a policeman as people watched on.
His lifeless body was then strung up on the end of a crane and put on display for the watching crowds.
This was the second public execution in weeks after another man was executed in the same square for raping and murdering a three-year-old girl.

Both executions have been described as examples of the Shiite rebels’ efforts to combat crime in their areas.
Since the second half of 2014, Sanaa has been controlled by Houthi insurgents to the region.
The predominantly Shia-led religious and political movement has been accused of human rights violations including the use of child soldiers.
The UN has described Yemen as “the largest humanitarian crisis in the world,” with 10 million civilians in desperate need of assistance as the country teeters on the edge of famine.
