CPS cares more about quotas than kids

Many people call Child Protective Services when they think there may be a problem with a child. What they don’t realise is there is a chance they are doing more harm than good to the child and its family.

What happens when you call in an anonymous tip? The CPS worker begins making unannounced calls on the family. They will tell the parent they have to come in, that they have to look at the child’s bedroom, verify there is food in the refrigerator. What they are doing is inspecting your entire house.

The CPS worker will use every little thing they can find against the parents. A dish in the sink means a filthy kitchen; if they don’t like the food in the refrigerator you are neglecting the child’s nutritional needs; toys on the floor, the house is dirty.

The invasion does not stop at home. CPS worker will contact the child’s medical doctors and obtain records — HIPAA laws can be legally violated by CPS workers. CPS workers will pull children out of class at school and question them without a parent’s knowledge or authorization. CPS workers are allowed to violate your rights and those of your children by medical practitioners, school systems and the courts. This is not acceptable!

The CPS worker will find some reason to open a case, and the family will be living under constant threat of having their children taken and put into foster care. The parents will be given a lengthy, time-consuming list of things they must complete, such as drug testing, parenting classes, counseling, and in-home visits, in addition to maintaining full-time employment and taking care of the children. If the CPS worker deems the parents are not doing well enough, the children are thrown into foster care.

Traumatizing the child? Definitely. Extremely nerve-wracking and heart-wrenching to the parents? Absolutely! Does CPS care? No! They are “saving” a child – their paycheck depends on it.

The Adoption Incentives Payment Program allows states to earn incentive funds for increasing the number of children adopted out of foster care.

To increase adoption rates you have to have a large selection of children available for adoption. CPS workers must “save” more children each year by removing them from homes, putting them into non-relative foster care homes, and then adopting those children out to strangers.

They tend to pick on low-income families who do not have the resources to hire attorneys and fight them. It is a chain reaction money-making legalized kidnapping. A CPS worker’s wages are dependent on saving children, and a child saved by being placed in foster care and then adopted out provides funds from the federal government. From that legalized kidnapping other positions are also secured, those of the DHS workers, foster care workers, guardian ad-litem, therapists, foster care parents and judges.

While there are children who are abused or neglected, there are far too many who are not. This is a nationwide problem that needs to be stopped.

Please give serious, heartfelt consideration before you call in a tip to CPS. Is the child really neglected or abused? Have you talked to the parents about your concerns, or are you just making assumptions about the situation?

Your call to CPS may take a child who is loved, cared for and secure in their relationships and environment and throw them into a traumatic situation needlessly.
