Bravehearts have recently released a 32 page brochure for children on Keeping Safe.
Apart from the fact that my 13 year old daughter could have done a much better job on putting the article together, i must say that Alecomm certainly does not approve of such statements as "Do you trust your mum and dad", and "You can trust police and KIDS HELP LINE".
As stated previously, the church and state are having a terribly difficult time in admitting and making right, past abuses. So why would Bravehearts tell all these innocent children that they can trust the State? With DoCs being responsible for almost one million children stolen from young mothers up until the 1970's, the stolen generation, and the new generation of stolen children now, why would ANYBODY tell innocent little children that they can trust the state. This is so far from the truth that Bravehearts Hetty Johnson needs to have her head read. I guess money does buy love, because Bravehearts are funded by DoCS and "we gotta keep that cash coming in" now don't we Hetty?
What sort of people think that it is NOT abuse to make a young child question whether or not they can trust their parents? Or their family? The mother and father are the childs first and (generally) main role model FOR LIFE - to create such doubt in a childs mind IS nothing less than child abuse in the first degree. This propoganda is being spread throughout each and every school in NSW - and the only testing that has been done is with the RTA, some Indian company and a few other places that have absolutely nothing to do with children.
Furthermore not one person at Bravehearts, imparticular Hetty Johnson herself can comment on exactly what professional standards these Education Propganda Materials being distributed in our education system was adhered to. Nobody at Bravehearts can state what exact qualifications they have to be able to create such childrens literature and furthermore, what exact endorsements are there - besides the bloody Roads and Traffick Authority.
Shame on Bravehearts for being so greedy as to taking the tax payers money and using it to darken our childrens mind, and to even brainwash them into thinking that the Department of Community Services is its friend. How low can you go Hetty!
A point of interest is that Hetty Johnson has been contacted numerous times about the Childrens Illustrations and Bravehearts qualifications to supply such material to children, yet they seem to be not able to supply any answers with the exception of "contact our lawyers".
Bravehearts you have lost our vote. We are the parents ... you know ... the ones (according to you) our kids shouldn't trust! --- check out page 32

I also note that you state that children can trust teachers and police and that they can call the Kids Help Line ... im aware that you are funded by the government, but dont you think that it could be construed as a conflict of interest to state that these government agencies are trustworthy, given how many apologies the state is still given to all stolen children and families from previous generations? Not to mention how many children are still being stolen from the same authorities? To encourage a child to call the Kids Help Line when anybody who has experienced DoCS first hand knows this is a devastating action, and to have a child removed from their parents could also put the blame back onto the child from losing his or her family. This too would have cause the child much mental anguish and emotional suffering for him feeling he was responsible for being taken from his or her parents.
There are many such cases out there including Savannah, the girl who lied to DoCS, and there are many more children being unnecessarily removed from loving parents which i am sure you are already aware of.
Please don't let these children be pawns in the game where they are guaranteed to get hurt.
I also learnt from experience that it is no good to tell your child to go and tell somebody if somebody touches them inappropriately . By then ... it is too late! Now i teach children to scream at the top of their lungs and not be concerned. Any overreaction can only be safe - just like ads on television now telling people who think they may be having a heart attack to ring 000. Better safe than sorry.
Please look after out children, but don't tell them that the wolf in sheeps clothing are okay to talk to when we all know they're not.

Why would Braveheart exacerbate this anxity and depression in children by implying they should put their trust in someone else instead - someone that doesn't really care if they succeed in life and doesn't even follow them two weeks after a court case.
When is society going to start actually caring about the needs of children instead of the needs of the adults that pretend they do the right thing.
When is society going to start supporting and assisting parents in preventing harm tot heir children rather than just wait until children are harmed and pretend they care?
