Nursing staff at Campbelltown Hospital are blatantly violating mandatory policy directives given by NSW Health regarding newborn babies. Mandatory policies state that babies must breastfed by their mothers, not given pacifiers and put with mum twenty four hours per day to allow mother and baby to bond.
A newborn baby just this morning has been taken to another 'Special Care Nursery' where he is not allowed to receive his very important colostrum or his breast milk. He is not allowed to snuggle in his mothers arms or even be held by his daddy.
Maybe you think the parents are drug addicts. Mum and dad are beautiful people and there is no risk of harm to their newborn baby at all. Department of Community Services acknowledges this and it is therefore stated that the only people abusing this beautiful newborn baby is the government, yet again.
WHY ARE CAMPELLTOWN HOSPITAL STAFF BEING ALLOWED TO VIOLATE A MANDATORY POLICY, AT AN INNOCENT CHILDS EXPENSE!
