It's true isn't it? Because the government wouldn't just take kids from parents that hadn't done anything wrong to warrant removal.. Pru Goward even proves it because she continually states that "Removing a Child is a Last Resort", meaning that DoCS would have tried every possible means before ripping a child away from everybody and everything they know. To remove a child you must have really fucked up.
Well I hate to inform you but this is not true at all. DoCS have a very bad habit of removing children from families before they even interview the family to see if there is actually any "serious enough issues" that would warrant such extreme measures like removing a child from their own family.
In the past two years - we have dealt with four newborn babies stolen straight from their mummies womb at Gosford Hospital and shoved straight into the foster care system. There was no intervention, there was not even a meeting or a visit from DoCS, there was just BOOM! .. You're a bad parent and we're assuming care of your baby. Unlike Ms Goward continually pushes to mainstream media via channels of family connection, there was not one single measure taken by DoCS before they appeared in the labour ward to steal these newborn babies.
To further enforce the fact that what DoCS do is completely and absolutely wrong and against the law, there are guidelines and legislation that must be followed BEFORE removal of a child. The first one is a meeting with the parents. This would provide an opportunity to discuss issues that DoCS think are relevant to the safety and well being of a child and give parents an opportunity to put their side forward. There are other procedures - like doing proper investigations of Risk of Harms that are put through, but they do not see fit to do that either.
In fact, DoCS is costing the Australian Tax Payers BILLIONS OF DOLLARS A YEAR because they LITIGATE before they INVESTIGATE! Not only that, they are destroying thousands of innocent families and children. The lives of these children are being tainted forever. These children are being abused by the system and to date, there are no repercussions whatsoever for these DoCS Officers who are basically trafficking our children.
Why? You ask isn't something being done about these cases? Because all the people that make a hell of a lot of money, the people that have the influence in the system, do not want those changes to save money or lives. They want kids being removed prematurely. They want LITIGATION. Because that's what they're making their money off. Our Backs and Our Kids Lives.
For the record - those four babies that DoCS Stolen from Gosford Hospital --- THEY WERE ALL RETURNED TO THEIR LOVING PARENTS. Three of those newborn babies spent over twelve months in foster care. In that time one of those babies was admitted to hospital on two occasions with nappy rash so bad it warranted hospitalisation. Nappy Rash requires JIRT investigation, but do you think the foster carers responsible for this dispicable act upon a beautiful baby were investigated? NO! Because DoCS refuse to show just how bad their picking and chosing of who can and who cannot raise children truly is.
Another two of those stolen children have returned home. No bond with mummy and daddy. No feelings of security from the womb they came from, and the two people who made them. And No Apology from DoCS. Shame on DoCS, and Shame on all our politicians and ministers who continually refuse to act and implement the legislation to ensure our children are safe from trafficking by our own government thieves.

There has never been a child born that doesn't warrant two loving parents to nurture, care and protect them.
BUT .... what is going down within the NSW Child Protection Dpt/Government is so evil it is uncomprehendabl e for the majority of Australian citizens.
All the sorries of late to the Forgotten Australians - Child Migrants - Mothers & Children ( Victims ) of Forced Adoptions and lets not forget the Sorry from Mr Rudd to the Stolen Generation have been crafted to fool the Australian people into believing our politicians mean it.
If you keep a watchful eye on the NSW print and internet media concerning social policies of the not so fortunate in life...you will note that they are being seriosly VICTIMISED by our Government non policies regarding social services.
Social services flew out the windows of the NSW Parliament many years ago and they have never returned. Instead we have upgraded Legislation and new laws that does nothing other than persecute these people and their children.
Like it or not ...the innocent children and NEW BORN BABIES of the NOT SO FORTUNATE in NSW have become the NEW MINING BOOM for NSW over the past two decades....supp ly and demand for childrens wardships are OUT OF CONTROL.
Re: Neoliberalism and child protection a deadly mix. And who can argue with this heading as 135 innocent children known to DoCS lost their precious little lives last year under the watchful eye of Child Protection NSW....Evidentl y they were too busy STEALING the Children of the innocent to top up their child trafficking mining boom.
